This Privacy Policy describes how Kinetic Melody ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with the Target Tuner mobile application (the "App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Microphone Access

Target Tuner uses your device's microphone to detect the pitch of sounds you play, so the App can display tuning information in real time. This audio is processed entirely on your device.

• Audio is not recorded, saved, stored, or transmitted anywhere, including to us or any third party.
• Audio exists only in memory for the brief moment needed to calculate a pitch reading, and is immediately discarded.
• You can revoke microphone access at any time through your device's system settings. If revoked, the App's tuning features will not function, but the App will otherwise remain usable.

2. Information Stored on Your Device

If you create custom instrument tunings, that information (instrument name, tuning name, and string notes) is saved locally on your device only. It is:

• Not uploaded to us or any external server.
• Not linked to any account, since the App does not require account creation or login.
• Permanently deleted if you uninstall the App, clear the App's data, or delete a specific custom tuning within the App.

The App also stores simple preference settings locally (such as your chosen display mode, sound and vibration preferences, and selected tuning) using standard Android local storage. These are never transmitted off your device.

3. Advertising

The free version of the App displays advertisements served through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect certain information automatically to serve and measure ads, which can include device identifiers, general location (such as country or region, derived from IP address), ad interaction data, and similar technical information. This collection and its use are governed by Google's own privacy policy, not this one:

Where required by applicable law, you may be shown a consent prompt allowing you to control whether ads are personalized. You can also review or adjust ad personalization settings generally through your device's system settings (for example, Settings > Google > Ads on Android).

Purchasing the premium, ad-free unlock removes advertisements from the App going forward.

4. In-App Purchases

The App offers an optional one-time purchase to unlock premium features. This purchase is processed entirely by Google Play Billing. We do not receive, see, or store your payment card number, billing address, or other payment credentials — that information is handled directly between you and Google, under Google Play's own terms and privacy policy.

5. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, and the App does not require:

• Your name, email address, or any account registration information.
• Precise GPS location.
• Contacts, photos, files, or any other data on your device outside of what's described above.
• Any information from anyone we know to be under the age of 13.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us using the information below so we can address it.

7. Data Security

Because the App does not transmit personal data to us, most of the data described in this policy never leaves your device. Data stored locally on your device is protected by your device's own operating system security. Any information handled by Google (advertising or billing) is subject to Google's own security practices.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example to reflect changes in the App's features or applicable law. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
